Sony A7-R4 mirrorless camera with a Zeiss-Batis 18mm/f2.8 wide-angle lens. Shot from my fire lookout tower on 8000 foot peak. The sun is setting behind me, and there is a light rain falling between me and the next peak over. The shadow of my mountain can be seen on the side of the neighboring peak.

(12,179 posts)I've had a bit of the Trump-itis blood pressure of late and don't get on here as much as I usually do. I didn't even look at the replies above. I just punched reply right off the bat and didn't notice that Peggy posted a reply above me.

I wanted to go to the ground and get the fire tower under the rainbow arc, but I was working a lightning fire with two engine crews on it .. so all I could do was a couple of quick shots from the lookout tower catwalk.
