Spring is my favorite season, and these flowers are a big part of that.

Painting is beyond me but for someone who knew how, that would be something wonderful to do!

Jacarandas are common here in Southern CA. Some blocks are covered with their flowers like a blue/purple haze.

Well, I store my best photos in a separate photo hosting site called SmugMug. I don't keep my photos in my camera any longer than it takes me to upload them into my computer. And I stopped using big, heavy albums when I stopped taking film pictures. That was a while ago!

Jacaranda does not grow in my part of the U.S. (most of the U.S., actually, according to the range maps I just googled), so it's especially fun to see how beautiful those are.

Day lilies are a whole different story, lol. They are a very popular garden pllant around here, and they are all over the place for most of the summer. But they don't really get going for a couple more weeks, so these were a nice preview!
