We oldtimers remember how much effort it used to take with actual film, either an SLR or disposables when they came out.

I wish we had digital cameras when I was a kid, there would be so many more images to treasure.

I actually walked the mile round-trip, it was a struggle. It’s the first I’ve done in a while. You know arthritis.

I wouldn't have been able to walk that mile round-trip! I would have been collapsed somewhere along the way.

Never mind having the energy to get that lovely photo besides! It simply speaks Spring to all of us.

I like the shadows cast on the mural of the Manhattan Beach Pier.

The shadows were certainly interesting. A brisk, sunny early spring day that I was glad to see!

I’m always amazed how you seek out new and different images each time. The first one i especially like!

I'm always looking for the new, the uniquely different things that we love to see. It can be a challenge but it sure wasn't today!

The dates and the flowers were new and I was thrilled to see them.

Those flowers do look, as the saying goes, like the earth laughing. Joyously.

Spring is announcing its presence more and more vigorously every day. I feel very fortunate to be able to get out and capture its photo.

Spreading light is a very good and healing thing you do, Peggy.

Just think: I am smiling at you from the northeast corner of the US. That’s a good distance for happiness to travel. You did that.

But remember, it takes two to really make happiness, especially over such long distances.

When your dinner has finally been digested and you feel hunger pangs again! And you know you sleep better if you're not hungry!

photos are today, a reminder that spring and beauty are here. Actual equinox last night, official on Thursday.. But the wind is so bad here these last three days I was barely able to take out the trash! But I look at your photos, and all is well. Thank you.

And to think that my photos can help relieve you of that stress! I'm very glad they helped.

So much of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food has never caught on as it should in the US ... we go for processed, dairy fat-enriched and soy meal "food" instead.

Give me dates, olives, and pistachios any day.

This vendor is new to the Market; I hope he'll continue. He was handing out free samples! Nothing quite like getting a scrumptious date to make you want to buy a whole lot more!
