It's truly gorgeous.

And I love the second one too. Every branch, every twig is outlined in snow. It almost blends into the background.

And of course, in bloom last spring! Simply lovely.

I was going to go with the closeup as a stand alone photo but thought it would be interesting to see the whole bush in snow and in full bloom.

But I am so longing for May when the purple blooms entice us with their scent.

I'm enjoying the snow! So far, our snowfalls have been a minor inconvenience.

I'm not enjoying the freezing temps.
