I know the parkway isn’t a regular transmitter route but how is it getting around?

This was one helluva storm.

These were taken north of Roanoke, where there wasn't any major flooding. The local roads were open and I saw no damage. I hope the northern portion of the BRP reopens soon.

You have an eye. The green is incredible. Silly question maybe but are you shooting film?

Strictly digital. I used a Canon R8 with a 35mm lens.

We must all remember to look at beauty after experiencing such ugliness every.single.day the orange turd is amongst us.

My husband is the ocean type but I'm the Blue Ridge type.

The views along the Blue Ridge Parkway are incomparable; I'm hoping the northern portion reopens in time for peak fall foliage.

I hope it reopens too.

I've been there several times & stayed at the Lodge and in the campground.

The other two photos were taken from a hilltop public cemetery east of the peaks. Sharp Top and Flat Top mountains are seen to the west in the second photo. The third photo is the view facing east. I've dined at the lodge. My mother lives nearby.
