Been looking, but just clouds here, same tomorrow and Saturday. HOPING for Sunday.

We've had so much cloud cover recently! It makes me crazy. The last few nights have been warm and clear, and I thought I had a chance.

It was absolutely enthralling seeing it through my viewfinder. Floating up there, just within my reach, moving fairly fast toward setting!

It was gratifying and wonderful!

I would have had to be on my deathbed (fortunately, I am NOT!) to miss this opportunity! I did have to dodge some pesky wires but that just involved a bit of a wait while I admired the view.

I am very pleased with this one. Love the color which showed up (no enhancement needed.) Just a bit of sharpening and a tiny crop, and that was it!

It looks delicate and lacy, with a golden glow and and very nice detail in the craters. Good work!

Those were the exact qualities that drew me to save and feature this photo!
