The opening chord is infamous.

(71,104 posts)2. In eighth grade at a talent show, I saw a group of kids play this song and it blew my mind. It never ocurred to me...
... with my background of flutophone bands that kids could play this stuff and play it so well. An eyeopener.
I remember sitting in a downtown Akron theater by myself on Christmas just before the talent show and watching, "Hard Day's Night".
The Lyme, the name of the band, played this song so well, to me it could have been the Beatles.

(75,864 posts)3. The Opening Chord!
A chord that literally can't be played on guitar.
Requires 2 guitars & a bass to get in all the notes.
It's a 6 tone chord, but with some notes too close together to get on 6 strings.
Really clever stuff by those guys, and they were still really young at that time.
