What fantastic players he recruited.
My wife and I saw them live at Alpine Valley on the tour for this record.
They were so good live, I quit listening to the album because they were so much better live.
They were "wow" the whole night.

"Bring On The Night"
It's the soundtrack from the band formation/first concert movie.
The documentary is excellent but...
Since it was shot at the beginning of the tour it is not as stellar as when we saw them months & dozens of performances later.

Kind of lost in the wake of the three following LPs...
Nothing Like the Sun, The Soul Cages & Ten Summoner's Tales.
They were a great live band. Saw them three times, including
at The Ritz (NYC) three months before the album was released.
First venue without The Police. Great show. Over 40 years ago now.
A few pictures I took from the front row here...
