Later came f.m. for modern music but it was all album play on many stations. Imagine, playing an entire one side of an album and people listened. But you were supposed to shorten a song to 2:45 to get it played.

that had music late at night. Seeing live music on TV was a treat. These shows are now history but the music level rocked.
