I lived through the era ... this strikes me almost like caricature, satire ... but it's well done.

They made fun of any and everything. Punks, hippies, racists, pop music, the beach, laundromats, Camaros, etc. Nice guys. I got to hangout with them 12-13 years ago when a friend's band was opening for them.

One thing bugged me though.
California Dreaming is not a Beach Boys tune.
My dad was a milkman so I found the bit funny. (He was still alive at the time.)
