Announced this year, the as-yet-unnamed feature is being produced by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight and directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, the duo behind the LCD Soundsystem doc/concert film Shut Up and Play the Hits. Its being produced by Magna Studios, recently launched by former Pulse execs Marissa Clifford and Davud Karbassioun.
Very little else is known about the film, which is being kept under a veil of secrecy, but Variety hears that both Robbie Ryan and Haris Zambarloukos have been shooting segments of the tour.
A two-time Oscar nominee, Ryan is known for his work with directors including Yorgos Lanthimos, Ken Loach, Andrea Arnold and Noah Boambach, with a list of credits that includes Poor Things, The Favourite, I, Daniel Blake, Marriage Story and American Honey.
Zambarloukos, meanwhile, is best known for his extensive work with Kenneth Branagh, such as on Belfast, Thor Murder on the Orient Express and Death on the Nile, but his other credits include Tim Burtons recent Beetlejuice Beetlejuice and Ben Wheatleys The Meg 2: The Trench. He previously united with Knight on his acclaimed Locke, starring Tom Hardy.

like Coachella wanting Oasis to headline next year, but reportedly no decisions will be made about those for a while.

(11,988 posts)3. There a few Event Concert films that have been shot well.
I am glad Oasis is getting a top creative team together.
