I believe his years in Fleetwood Mac were that band's apex with some of my favorite songs. He completely changed the band in remarkable ways. indeed, he took his Mac song "Sentimental Lady" and released it on his French Kiss album.

"Hypnotized" had his fingerprints all over it.

Before that I tried downloading the tunes from French Kiss on I think it was Itunes which didn't sound right the way it had been remixed. I was really disappointed. Back then the internet was still pretty young and new and Bob Welch actually had an email address. (I don't remember where I obtained it) I wrote to him about how disappointed I was with the way the new digital version sounded. He suggested to me the CD Version to buy which were closer to the sound of the vinyl release. I got it and he was right - the CD version I obtained was perfect. My closest brush with stardom lol.
