I was learning to drive when this sing came out. My mom was practicing with me, this song came on & she heard the words. The fit she had as I was singing along was epic.

Because of its “immoral” content. Apparently Mrs Jones and her lover were the only two adulterers in the Universe. As a 19 year old I understood the part about the urge being much too strong. Thx for the trip down down our musical memory lane.
