Keyboards rose to prominence at the beginning of the decade, and they carried through for most of those ten years. The club dance scenes featured extended versions of top forty hits. It was a great era.

I covered this tune for about a year in the early 80s.
Would have covered it longer (with pleasure) but, I quit that band in a hurry. By the time is found something bigger & better, I never retreated to it.
I love how it changes gears so well. Huge & load, lighter & sparse in the verses, bouncy in the chorus.
I saw Billy live, opening fir Foreigner on their 4 tour.
They were really good, but the soundman committed some sabotage. Not horrible, but it didn't do justice to how they performed.
