The axe was a blast from the past! That guy had so much talent. Definitely a good entertainer who could seriously play.

Crazy good. Shame about the paint, but it goes in cycles. Sooner or later they'll want them lightly restored again.

Roy made a lot of people want to play the guitar and his lessons probably taught many. He was great.

A Fender Jazzmaster from 1962.
I got it for free; did about 5 minutes of work & about $2. Never needed anything again.
I've had it 45 years.
If I hadn't had it repainted, it would probably fetch $12-14,000. The new paint job probably knock five or 6 grand off the value.
I hardly ever play it (don't like the neck shape) but it looks cool hanging on the wall.
