Looks like you were still using oil painting technics in water color.

I agree they are challenging. I wish I could still be carefree like I was in 2nd and 3rd grade with watercolors. But like you I like oil and layering of colors and textures.

It’s so hard to flip your brain. You do it without even thinking! I should switch mediums more often.
