I wasn't especially thrilled with the way the leaves came out. But it's hard because they're so dark. I love these little flowers.

I can almost smell them!

Right outside my kitchen window I've started a small garden. I like having them there as I can see them if I sit to eat dinner so far, I have a couple hydrangeas in there and some pansies and a bleeding heart. I don't want to awfully big things as I have flowers on both sides of the house, and then, as my backyard tapers off, there's a creek running through, and I have flowers all the way down the creek.
I go pick them and use them for my kitchen table.
But I love my flowers.

I have a small bed that I just started outside the kitchen window. All my flowers are on both sides of the house which I can't see them unless I go out and pick them or I'm outside. All my other flowers are at the end of my backyard near the creek.

I have Lily of the Valley in my front yard. I share them with my neighbor.
