catching up

I have not posted much since my hand surgery on the 5th. I had carpal tunnel and thumb reconstruction at the same time. I have two steel pins: http://www.eatonhand.com/hw/hw003.htm

Today my surgery cast came off. I have a removeable therapy cast now.

X ray shows everything is fine. My left thumb is now a little shorter than the right. They should match again when I get the right hand done later this year.

Pain the first 3 days was very bad!
