smart. Perhaps he’s not into the guitar notes so much but that he knows when that instrument comes out it’s free hugs for him time.

They've put out videos on how to tell the difference. I guarantee that all Dodo videos are about 100% flesh and blood animals.

It makes sense that they do because we do as well and we really aren't all that special as a species. When a neurologist insisted my now-departed cat Felix was completely out of it, and, later, completely paralyzed, he nonetheless responded to my singing "When I Fall in Love." Even the neurologist was surprised. I don't think she had seen the movie The Music Never Stopped

By all means, sing to your animal companions. They'll love it.

Lots of his videos on Facebook, but he is on YouTube too, in pastures and at zoos. Cows, bears, lions, giraffes, hippos, penguins, horses, llamas, you name it and there is likely a video of Plumes playing and singing to it. And the responses are always lovely.
