My wife is trying to plan an upcoming jaunt up to Cornell University with a friend...

to see this Ruth Bader Ginsburg fashion exhibit. Justice Ginsburg is a Cornell grad, as my wife is.

"The Personal Style of Ruth Bader Ginsburg ’54, on Display"

I didn't know whether to post this in GD, or the lounge, so I flipped a coin.

Looks interesting:

I doubt any of Melania's wardrobe (or lack thereof) will be on display. erronis Yesterday #1
Since the exhibit is about Justice Ginsburg, probably not. niyad Yesterday #3

I'm sitting here on pins and needles...she's at the breast center now getting an ultrasound on a lump in her breast. She goes every 6 months to see if it is changing.

I usually go with her, but she wanted to go alone this time. I'm waiting until she gets home before I start my yardwork...

She was stressed about going this week because she is super busy, but she read somewhere that it was extended...I think.

Funny story
Daughter did the four year stint ,with the drives the snow ,to study fashion.

At lunch ,at graduation, she says" i'm not doing that stuff" referring to the fashion industry.

She's doing great doing fundraising for major NYC charities so it all worked out.

My wife majored in Animal Science. She was on track to be a veterinarian, but she also decided "I'm not doing this".

1) Site of arguably the most legendary Grateful Dead concert 5/8/77, Barton Hall on the Cornell campus...I was at that show at age 18.

2) The coolest bar/restaurant ever, and my old road trip hang-out: Rulloff's on College Ave. We used to walk around college town, keeping an eye open for that window seat to open up, and then we would go in and grab it to spend the whole afternoon there. Rulloff's is not there anymore.
