In an empty field it's surely fun. The public is not prepared to pilot these things. This is bungee jumping anywhere you like.

If I had a real need to get to an otherwise inaccessable place, I suppose the Jetson One could get me there.

But really, the Jetson ONE is just a very expensive toy. I've got better things to spend my retirement savings on.

Have the dealer bring one out for a 10 minute test-drive. Then he'll find out I don't have the money to buy one.

The price is, of course, prohibitive but I think it would be cool.
I would however, like to know how the motors work and whether the motors are self-redundant.
One motor of 8 goes out and one dies? But, if 7, or 6 can still result in a safe landing, then I think it'd be cool.

I am priced out of the option, but even if I could afford it I suspect I'd kill myself trying it out. I am too old to rock and roll but too young to die.
