(220 posts)You think road rage is bad now? Wait until people start having dogfights trying to get home during rush hour.

(27,715 posts)Can you use it going to the store, or to your cousin's in the next county over or to Times Square? I think not. So what do you use it for? Rich Boy toy to show off.

(133,443 posts)Interesting. However, the tag line from the creator had me saying, "Oh fucking HELL NO!!" The tag line is "Everyone can be a pilot". Righhhhhhhht. Just like everyone can be a driver, considering what I see daily on the roads. So now we have to watch for the crackpots above us, not just next to us?

But really, the Jetson ONE is just a very expensive toy. I've got better things to spend my retirement savings on.

(77,062 posts)The price is, of course, prohibitive but I think it would be cool.
I would however, like to know how the motors work and whether the motors are self-redundant.
One motor of 8 goes out and one dies? But, if 7, or 6 can still result in a safe landing, then I think it'd be cool.
I am priced out of the option, but even if I could afford it I suspect I'd kill myself trying it out. I am too old to rock and roll but too young to die.
