During an in-studio conversation with audience members, shared on Jeopardy!'s TikTok page earlier this week, Jennings revealed what would happen if Ding bests his record.

"If he were to hypothetically win game No. 75, that would be a record that nobody's beaten for 20-odd years," Jennings said. "I would be very excited, actually. Are you imagining me getting more and more pissed with every game? 'If he wins, I'll eat my hat.'"
