I previously had three properties saved in my bookmarks and two of them have sold within the last year or so.

I haven't visited Costa Rica but we have some American DU expats that are most helpful!

Also, Costa Rica isn't as far as Italy but Italy isn't out as an option. I get obsessive like this when who-know-who is in the white House.

Edit: has/had I've lost my marbles. Aggie.

have volcanos! But Italy's have been more active recently.

Costa Rica is a beautiful place though. Lots of nature to explore.

I did more research on Italy but I had time to do so during the pandemic lockdown. Southern Italy has tornados but the homes are not wood framed houses and so they are built to last. The homes are practically fire proof and tornado proof.

I'll have to do more research on Costa Rica.

I still roughly two decades before I retire but I want to leave the U.S. right now.

I would still need money to obtain a residence and extra money for shipping my material possessions.

I could part with some of my possessions but not all of them, especially my Halloween and Christmas items.
