In the next town over, there's a small gated community on a series of ponds. Not big fancy homes, but still gated.
The back entrance, which is really easy to miss is "Hole In The Wall Drive".

Where I grew up in North Carolina.

On the railroad line there are three towns. Hornytown is halfway between High Point and Climax.

I grew up in Climax.

Just a few miles From Chapel Hill.

Named for one of the notorious "Indian Schools" that the road went by.
The school is long gone, but the street name remains.

I remember seeing that in Phoenix.

Named after the historic Albuquerque Indian School.

I now live in high desert - basically pinyon, juniper and cactus and a road near me is called Golf Course Road. Either a joke or someone had unrealistic plans.

Music City! Nashville

Supposedly named after a fur trader.

I'd like to think that property values are lower there, but I doubt it.

Good name for lots of folks I know.

Hell's Peak Rd in Vermont, a few towns away from me.

...was Penny. Most unpleasant woman. When we were moving to the greater Chicago area, we looked at many, many houses and developments that had open lots for a new house to be built. One of the neighborhoods only had a couple of lots available, which were on Penny Lane.

I spent about 1 minute attempting to convince myself that, if we chose a lot there, I could think of just the Beatles' song by the same name. Nope - wasn't gonna be possible. Some things you should not have to do.

When I lived in San Antonio during my first tour of duty with the Air Force nurse corps, there was a neighborhood near my apartment complex in which all the streets were named after Hollywood folks. I knew I could never live on Lon Chaney Lane, Bela Lugosi Street, or Desi Arnaz Drive.

Carson City NV has a Hells Bells Rd.
In El Dorado county CA the road that leads to the garbage transfer station is Throwita Way.
