What I liked was the guitarist's chords that he chose to elevate the music.

I just think four different keys is a bit much for one stanza. They should have at least skipped the first modulation.

I did like the reharmonization using relative minor chords in places, though.

Still too slow.
In fact, nearly every version I've ever heard is too slow except for the original Sousa Marine Band recording, which is pretty good if you can ignore all the pops & clicks.
