(15,666 posts)It's a well crafted piece of art, but IMO does not convey the spirit of a nice kitty.

(4,294 posts)it becomes an instant play toy, lol. I had a beautiful green glass sphere that they turned into a ball. I still have no idea where it went!

(11,876 posts)I took a screenshot and used google image search.
Found the product on Amazon and what little reviews that I found consumers were mentioning that it doesn't look anything like the photo.
Luxury Black Cat Stone Sculpture Elegant Home Décor & Gift-Ready Art Piece, Hand-Carved Crystals and Healing Stones Carved, Black Cat Figurine Decoration Gemstones Statue Gifts for Cats Lovers(2pcs) https://a.co/d/iDZKq3o
If it looked like the photo absolutely.
I once bought a David Bowie T-shirt off Amazon years ago and I didn't read the reviews. The seller didn't ship the products and only taking buyers money. So now I look at the reviews on Amazon.

(424 posts)We bought two of these cats. Upon opening the shipping box we were met with a foul smelling odor, and a white like substance oozing out of the area of the cats eyes. Be very careful with these cat heads. We removed our two cat heads to the local landfill letting them know of the problem. We tried removing the white substance, but it would not come off. Beware of these cat heads!!!

(7,669 posts)I'm not good at posting attachments and such and usually by the time i figure it out someone else has done it. Trying not to get down about the dire state were in. Very disheartening how so many people refuse to believe what they see. Otherwise, family is good and trying to keep up with the bullshit being flung at us daily. A lot of it is designed to demoralize us and it does wear on a person. Grateful for all the posters here that provide so much more insight than any of my regular news sources.

(7,808 posts)Looks like it could be Tourmaline... although I've seen tourmaline more often with the green streaks instead of orange. I adore those eyes, tho... I'd love to hold one of these and "feel" it... it's physical and metaphysical properties. The Craftsmanship is gorgeous! As for displaying it in my living room... with no problem! I already have so many cat statues, etc., that no one would think anything of "one more"... and this looks like it might be heavy enough to not get knocked off the table by one of my living, breathing cats! (LOL)

(62,394 posts)I wouldn't put anything that heavy that would roll easily anywhere it might crash onto something below.
I'm not averse to cat figurines. I've had one of these
https://www.ebay.com/itm/355749623552
since 1989, usually sitting high on a shelf in my dining room. And I have two large cat figurines (about a foot tall or across) occupying 2 of the 7 shelves of a vine-covered plant stand in the entry hall.
But I've seen too many mishaps with young relatives and pets to ever buy a curio that will roll. Or fall over too easily, like a very tall cat figurine of glass an old boyfriend gave me.
