Ever have a problem you couldn't figure out and then you realized the answer was simple

I was working on an Excel spreadsheet on my iPad this morning manually inputting information from an email on my desktop computer. I was entering formulas in the cells and the display on my desktop computer blanked out. I started checking the cables and the display and the information on the screen came back on. It did this about four times. I was starting to worry that relatively new computer had a problem. Then it dawned one me what was happening.

I hadn't changed the Turn my screen off after . I had the preset of three minutes so I changed it to 30 minutes and problem solved.

A former boss of mine used to call himself a "Slope Head" when he made stupid mistakes like that. A "Slope Head" is someone who hits their forehead with the heel of their hand every time they make a dumb mistake while saying "I knew That!" Now I know how my boss felt.
