You replace something simple in any part of your home (I bought a new non-slip mat for the bath) and end up doing a comprehensive cleaning of the entire bathroom - drawers, towel racks, toilet, sink, bath, ceiling, floor and all) before finally placing the new mat in the bath.
And its not as if you dont clean the place every week.
PHEW! Looks nice and smells nicer.
Thanks Pinesol lavender😀

(15,878 posts)I bought a kitchen candle today. My last day of vacation... right now I am trying to remember how clean I left it.
My joke is, I try to leave it so clean that it looks like a maid has been there.
LOL😀
And it always reminds me of an I Love Lucy in which they bought a new something--maybe a couch? And everything else looked all wrong so they ended up buying all new furniture. I know it's not exactly the same situation, but it always comes to mind.
Good thing I only bought a non-slip mat.😀

There are times when I cannot go into the kitchen to get a drink without cleaning it before I get the glass.

I just don't understand why he feels it is so horrible to be able to eat off of the floor at any time...
