Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsGood morning SCE and the rest of my DU family,
I just thought I'd share my reasons for including Robert specifically in my Good morning greeting. It is my every prayer that somehow SCE gets to see that he is important to us every day and if we can brighten his day a little it would be an honor.
Please have a special day, filled with opportunities to say kind words, offer smiles, and to see all those that do so much to make our days better.
Thank you for doing that for me every day DU.
Love, John

(27,781 posts)...is complement people I don't know. This opportunity most often occurs in a checkout line at the grocery store, or passing in the parking lot. If I see a woman with a great haircut or elegant manicure, an attractive outfit or shoes, a beautiful engagement ring, etc, I will make a favorable comment about it. No one has ever taken offense. People don't hear enough positive things much of the time, so I try to make a bit of difference in that.
Being a woman myself, I don't direct such comments to men, as I wouldn't want to it to come off as any attempt at flirting. At 74, I look old enough that I will comment on a cute baby or small child to a young dad.
