Decorations started showing up in retail after the 4th of Klarkashton Sunday #1

Last week I was in Walmart and they already had a couple aisles full of wreaths, tree decorations, etc. Diamond_Dog Sunday #2

I've been giving away all our stuff. My dad's yard sale after we talked him into moving into senior living ... marble falls Sunday #3

... had a half of garage of Christmas stuff was an eyeopener: what was expensive and pretty wasn't after 50 years.

We haven't bought anything in years other than an occasional light string, and it was shocking what a large pile of un-recyclable waste of resources it was. No salvage value, the copper was minimum.
