Boxing like crazy. Trying to find places to stack stuff.

Glad it's not longer than 4 years.

We've been in this house for over 30 years & I got rid of boxes & boxes & boxes of stuff the last two summers. At one point I stopped trying to sell it & just gave it away. Do a search on Craigslist for things like china or food processors & you will get back pages & pages of selections! I found an FB group of families who lost their homes in a fire, so that had it's own rewards, they were all so grateful.

Is china supposed to be capitalized when it refers to dishes, cuz it always shows red, even in Word.

Good luck with the move!

Everything it comes down to a crunch.
We the have to wait while the kitchen is installed.
That is always an adventure. At least this move weget to keep some of our old kitchen.

Since we bought the flat we don't have to worry about being moved out. 3 moves in 10 years after being in one place for 20 is hard.

We have workers who are supposed to install the kitchen on Thursday.
Right now we have so many kitchen boxes it is not funny. Plus some of the cabinets from our old place and new ones from IKEA. But we are in. The key holders by the door are up so it must be home!

We are on the 3rd floor, 4th US, and the elevator is a half floor up or you can take the stairs down. The new place is barrier free. Except, they just finished rebuilding the elevator and it can't be used until it gets signed off by the certifying group. Fortunately only one floor up to our place.

Everything is out of the old place. The workers come Thursday to install the kitchen so all that is everywhere. Fun times. We have beds, baths, and some living room.

Who's got it better than us?

Doing a kitchen upgrade has never been my favorite. (now where did I put that pesky microwave?)

It sounds like things are going well. Thanks for checking in.

Our rooms all have bare bulbs hanging from the ceilings. We have our own to install.
The kitchen is 4 walls with the water in and out connections and the electrical for the stove and cook top.
To make things more fun we decided to upgrade the stove, cook top, microwave and fridge.
But we haven't sold the old ones and have those also.
If we could have we would have installed the kitchen before moving, but most of our cabinets are coming with.

Fun stuff.
