When my landline phone or cellphone rings, I'll wait to see who it is that's calling me. On my landline, I have a feature that tells the caller to press #1 to connect the call. That stops about 99% of the robocalls. If someone presses #1 then I'll listen to the person and decide if I want to pick up the phone and talk to them. On my cellphone, I can look at it and see who it is. If I don't recognize the name or number I let it go to voice mail.
