What would Calvin's (from Calvin & Hobbes) psychiatric diagnosis be?

Childhood.

Truly, a deadly illness, sapping the time and sanity of the sufferer with distressing symptoms like “Imagination”, “Creativity”, and worst of all, “Fun”. Scientists have worked endlessly to stomp out this pandemic with pills and such to get kids to focus on important, useful things, but it keeps rearing its ugly head.

It generally affects children, but I’ve heard of adults that have succumbed to it too, from time to time, usually from exposure by an infected child. If you or a loved one are afflicted with this horrible disease of the mind, then my prayers go out to you.

I'm inclined to agree.
