Christ. Eye problems.

Type 1 diabetic. Awakened at 1230AM with low glucose alarm. Woke up and ate something.

Noticed a blind spot at that time in my left eye vision. Didn't worry too much about it, since I usually get spotty vision when glucose drops too low.

Woke up this morning, blind spot is worse.

Recently had cataract surgery. Called cataract doc answering service. Left message with his office. Got a call back by some local eye doc rep, she said it seems like a retina problem rather than front of the eye.

Called my retina doc. Screwed up voicemail would not accept messages.

Trying to figure out what to do.

That's my complaint for today.

Sitting here worrying like a bastard. I'll go to the ER if it gets worse.

just unloading, no need for a response.

have a nice day.

I have a large blind spot on my left eye from optic neuritis, and it got larger after my brain aneurysm.

Sending you lots of love and healing. I know how scary it can be. I hope you get through to the doctor. If not, perhaps the ER?

Look at a straight line, like the lines on a screen window or similar. If they are wavy, go as quick as you can. You might have bleeding in the retina or a detached retina. I can give you details why I know another time.

I hope it's not serious, but please have it checked

You don't want to fuck around if it's something like a retinal detachment.

Wishing you the best.

If you're not feeling up to it, please designate the task to that Christ fella. He can take care of that much.

CT Scans both with and without contrast on head and neck. Chest x-ray.

No apparent stroke.

It's likely retina or optic nerve related.

I'm to call my retina doc first thing in the morning.

They didn't run a retina scan. They're probably not equipped to do so. I'm not happy about waiting until tomorrow...

Thank you all for your nice words.

Even if it did resolve back to what you were going to do before deciding to go.
