Well it started out an ok day

I was going to start working in the basement, sorting and organizing. I had most of the basement blocked off so my elderly cat had limited area to mess up. But she found a way around. Thinking of putting litter boxes where I don't want her to go. :/ I cleaned up after her and sanitized as much as I could. Letting it dry for awhile. I cleaned out my freezer and planned to put a bag of trash out for pick up tomorrow. I put a bag of trash out Monday, so the house didn't get stinky. Before I got the 2nd bag ready, I looked out the door. For the first time ever, a critter had knocked over the can and tore up the bag. I put on disposable gloves and got a bigger bag, cleaned that mess, rinsed off the bin.
As I recover from sensory overload, I am trying to decide what smell I hate more -- old cat poop or ripe garbage. The rest of the day just has to go better!

I pampered myself all week, was ready to get to work. I'll head back to the basement and try again.
