(4,047 posts)3. I have rooted indoor cacti where the top was cut off from a rotting rootstock. Is that possible
here with some of the smaller tips? You can buy rooting powder at garden centers or online, and it works well. So sad to see the beautiful plant die.

I had no idea it was going to continue growing.
