I just started writing Haikus

I've never been into poetry, per se, but this form of it intrigues me. So a couple weeks ago I started writing it. I love the way it's so concise and disciplined. Here's my latest:

Dreams

Slipping into sleep
A world of magic awaits
So real, so fleeting

with "I paddle away". It stuck with me. I can't remember anything else about that haiku. On the rare occasions I write haiku since I always end them with "I paddle away".

Not that it is wrong for you to publish here, but it's available and fairly active. You might get some helpful hints or critiques.

I did know about it and have posted there a couple times. Thought I'd share one here as well.
