We had to pass the sit on lap test at the Humane Society.
Cat came home and hid behind washer for a month.
He lasted for another 16 years.

I just sent my 11 year old teenager grandson 3 Buddhist books to read. My story and yours tell that there is good karma out there.

We have an inside cat, we saw her on the internet at a shelter. When we picked her up they gave her to us in a box, we couldn't see her. When we got to look at her on the way home we found out she had herpes in one eye. The vet claims she has no problems seeing it just looks bad. So we do have to put eye drops in her eye every day to keep it from getting worse.

offered to remove it for free if she could keep the eye for study.
The cat eventually had bowel problems and often the intestine would stick out. We would give him an enema and out came the poop and the intestine returned to its proper place.
One weekend we went to my wife's cousin's wife's memorial. We had already mourned her passing.
At a drive through at a bank, our cat sitter called to tell us our cat had passed. We were crestfallen and teary eyed. The sitter asked what she should do. I told her to take a heavy duty garbage bag, wrap tge cat, and put him in the freezer.
At the ceremony we sat on either side of the cousin. I kept crying at the loss of our dear cat.
Other guests were commenting how we must have been really close to the deceased.
Little did they know, it was our cat.
At the reception at the house, I told the story of our cat's demise at 26 and how he was frozen for future burial at our home.
Many of the attendees had been to our house for Thanksgiving over the years. Some were not sure about an invite for the next one.

Neuter and release and he is the only one who has stuck around the whole time. He has climbed up on my second floor deck every evening for supper and now he is taking up residence there, he’s decided he found a pile of leaves to use his litter box and he certainly gets all the food he needs. For the winter I bought a little cabin with a warming pad underneath. He does look a little skinny though and he’s been drinking water a little more often than usual about three times a day. It has gotten warm out He’s made it 15 years.

Now that's it's getting warmer here in Pa. they lay on my glider I bought from the Amish on the porch, or under the glider when it gets too hot.

Sometimes vets are wrong.

One of the neighborhood kids cat was ran overby a cruel driver that steered his truck to kill their cat. We took the cat and buried it and had a service for it. Someone slashed the four tires on the truck that did the deed. I still don't know who it was even to this day. KARMA is a bitch.
