(23,365 posts)I learned that Fenton yellow custard glass glows green under a black light, too. One of my grand kids liked the effect, not sure if they will collect, but if they do, I have several pieces of uranium glass, in case they want it.

(11,013 posts)Uranium would give a nice orange glaze. Most of us stayed away from it but our professor often used it.
We would make up 3 gallon buckets of glaze, throw in formaldehyde and stir it with our arms. Those were the days?
