Charlie Kirk had every right to his views, and to promote them publicly, but we have every right to criticize them and
to determine that they are not consistent with the values and principles of the Christian gospel preached, taught and lived by example of Jesus the Christ.

The fact that so many conservative Evangelicals embraced Kirk's position and politics isn't confirmation of his fidelity to the Christian gospel, it is, rather, proof of his error, leading to the pseudo-Christian perspective he claims to preach, sounding godly and appearing a lot like godliness, but denying its power. Any conservative Evangelical who can embrace Kirk and see his Christian nationalism as compatible with their own brand of faith is also drowing in the error of false teaching when compared to the truth of the Christian gospel.
The kind of intolerance that inhabits Christian nationalism, and conservative Evangelicalism has been on full display in the angry rhetoric that has exploded since Kirk's assassination. In spite of the fact that Erika Kirk made a public offer of forgiveness to her husband's killer, the angry rhetoric didn't slow down. In fact, there've been some criticisms of her offer, something that hasn't received widespread acceptance among the movement.
The condemnation of this senseless act of violence has been universally condemned on the left along with yet another chorus of demands for gun ownership reform. The right, unfortunately, is not as shrill, and doesn't sound as sincere in their condemnation because "thoughts and prayers" about these kinds of incidents ring hollow when there's no realistic assessment or consideration of gun control reform.
Nor has it been the left that has used its power and influence to hypocritically shut down the first amendment rights of those who accurately point out that Kirk's white Christian nationalist perspective, which formed the foundation of his public debate and the core value of Turning Point USA, doesn't reflect the values and principles of the Christian gospel, preached, taught, and lived out by example of Jesus the Christ.
