IATSE Reaches Deal For Crew On 'Beast Games' Season 3

Source: Deadline

By Katie Campione May 11, 2026 2:44pm

IATSE has made a deal with Mr. Beast. After the producers on Beast Games Season 3 voluntarily recognized the crew’s desire to organize, the trade union revealed Monday that the parties had an agreement.

Per IATSE, the contract covers more than 500 crew members working on the Greenville, N.C.-based production.

Members working on the production will also receive back pay and benefits for completed pre-production work. The union says that the agreement covers not only Season 3 but “subsequent seasons” as well, though the specifics on the deal length were unclear. So far, the show is only renewed through Season 3.

Beast Games is a competition-style unscripted series that was co-created and hosted by MrBeast, also known as Jimmy Donaldson. It features 1,000 players competing for a $10 million cash prize.

Gaffers, stagehands, power and lighting, etc. The show ran into numerous complaints and conflicts concerning unsafe working conditions. It seems the employees wanted to go union and the company agreed.
