Epstein Files: Congressman Reveals 'Biggest Thing' Coming After New Release

Source: Newsweek

Dec 03, 2025 at 07:07 PM EST

California Democratic Representative and Ranking Member of the House Oversight Committee Robert Garcia said bank and financial records are the next “biggest thing” in the release of case files related to the federal sex trafficking investigation into Jeffrey Epstein.

Garcia appeared on MS NOW's Chris Jansing Reports after the release of photos and videos from Jeffrey Epstein’s private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands on Wednesday.

“The biggest thing that we're going to learn is actually what's ahead of us in the next few days as it relates to all of the bank and financial records. We received in total last night about 5,000 pages of photos, videos, some of which we have seen today, and then a substantial amount of bank records. And so those, we are going through, and we believe are really important to our investigation and the case,” Garcia said.

The committee obtained records from J.P. Morgan and Deutsche Bank. House Oversight Democrats say they plan to release the documents to the public after completing their review in the coming days.

They have been right in the center of the biggest financial crimes for decades.

And for the average customer, they are terrible. I had to take over my parents' financial accounts about a decade ago. Somehow, most of their money had gotten put into a Deutsche Bank fund. While the markets, in general, were doing OK, this DB fund had been losing every month for years. I couldn't get out of that fast enough. My parents lost nearly 40% of their savings in the process. I think that was mostly because customers were all selling those funds because of all the revelations about DB money laundering and Russian connections.

But I always wondered how they got into that fund in the first place. I suspect that it was motivated by Fox News.

Deutsche Bank loaned President Donald Trump over $1 billion for his real-estate projects while Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy's son led a real-estate division there, The New York Times reported Thursday.

Justin Kennedy was the global head of the real-estate capital markets division of Deutsche Bank, which loaned to Trump when other banks wouldn't.

Anthony Kennedy's retirement next month will give Trump an opportunity to shift the balance of the Supreme Court to the right.

Because of Trump's inconsistent track record in business, which included multiple bankruptcy filings and frequent lawsuits, most other major banks would not lend to him. Deutsche Bank loaned Trump the funds to construct and renovate skyscrapers and other developments in New York City and Chicago, The Times reported.

Never forget that moment when Kennedy, walking with DJT, appears taken aback by something Trump says to him.

I suspect it was a remark about the son, the bank, and the benefits of keeping quiet.

The DoJ can't make things disappear or alter them like they can with the other Epstein documents. The real story of Jeffrey Epstein will be told in the financial records. However we don't know how incriminating it would be, or could be for Chump himself. This story needs to be revealed in its entirety.

Which’s something.

Jeffrey Epstein claimed he gave Russians insight into Trump

Newly released emails show the late convicted sex offender’s extensive network of foreign contacts, whom he corresponded with about Trump’s policy decisions.

Nearly a month before President Donald Trump met Russian leader Vladimir Putin in Helsinki in 2018, Jeffrey Epstein attempted to pass a message to Russia’s top diplomat: If you want to understand Trump, talk to me.

“I think you might suggest to putin that lavrov can get insight on talking to me,” Epstein wrote in a June 24, 2018, email to Thorbjorn Jagland, a former prime minister of Norway who was leading the Council of Europe at the time of the exchange. Lavrov was an apparent reference to Sergei Lavrov, Russia’s longtime foreign minister.

In the email exchange, one of hundreds released Wednesday by congressional investigators, Epstein indicated he had previously talked about Trump with Vitaly Churkin, Russia’s forceful ambassador to the United Nations, before Churkin died in 2017.

“Churkin was great,” Epstein, the late convicted sex offender, wrote. “He understood trump after our conversations. it is not complex. he must be seen to get something its that simple.”
