Transgender members of the Air Force sue government over losing retirement pay

WASHINGTON — A group of 17 transgender members of the Air Force are suing the U.S. government over what they say is the military’s unlawful revocation of their early retirement pensions and benefits.

The lawsuit, filed in federal court Monday, comes several months after the Air Force confirmed that it would deny all transgender service members who have served between 15 and 18 years the option to retire early and would instead separate them without retirement benefits.

It is just the latest in a series of legal challenges to the Trump administration’s policies that have sought to push transgender troops out of the military since the early days of his second term. The U.S. Supreme Court in May, however, allowed the ban on trans troops to be enforced while legal challenges proceed.

According to GLAD Law, one of the advocacy groups that helped bring the lawsuit, service members affected by the policy will now face a loss of up to $2 million owed for their service over the course of their lifetimes in addition to the loss of health insurance benefits.

They earned those benefits. That did all the military asked of them and obviously they were never court-martialed or received dishonorable discharges. They have a right to those benefits.

Military life is hard. That's why pedo Trump avoided it and drunkard Hegseth stayed a home warrior. The constants moving, the danger and difficult living conditions keep a lot of people away. Then after they have endured a difficult military life the executive branch takes away what they promised them.

If they can so easily take away the pensions of Transgender people who else's benefits are they going to take away????

What about all those women in the military, are their pensions going to disappear too? What about all those liberals in the military will their benefits suddenly go poof? What about the millions of people of color? Will their pensions and benefits be taken away too?

The list of people pedo Trump and drunkard Hegseth hate is endless. Will all the people they hate be forced into poverty when they lose their pensions and benefits??????

What about all of us who are already retired? Will they be taking away our earned benefits because we are the wrong sex, color or political persuasion? This IS a hill to die on.
