more or less "shoot to kill" policy for Palestinian protesters who get violent but a "policing and arrest" approach for illegal squatters who get violent. The police and IDF do little to really deter these attacks and any "investigations" are a joke at best.

The more Palestinians dispossessed, hungry, or dead, the better. That is Israel's goal. They make that clear every single day.

They, and the government of Israel are violating international law against settling occupied territory. I’m dismayed that the US and indeed most of the world leaders refuse to do anything to stop Israel’s genocide, which is still continuing with IDF murders and deliberate starvation in Gaza. Countries should levy heavy sanctions on Israel and refuse to trade with them until they stop their depredations on Palestinians.

If they were in any other country, that's what they would be called. If they were in some other eras, we would call what they are doing "pogroms."

They are not "Israeli settlers attacking Palestinians." They are paramilitary death squads engaging in ethnic pogroms with the tacit approval of a sponsor state (even if a few are nominally arrested).
