Trump administration moves to dissolve ban on Abrego Garcia's removal to deport him to Liberia

Source: ABC News

The Trump administration has moved to dissolve the ban on Kilmar Abrego Garcia's removal so that it can proceed with his deportation to Liberia.

In a series of filings overnight, government attorneys said that the Salvadoran native's claim of fear of torture or persecution in the African nation was denied after he was interviewed by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services last week.

The attorneys for the Department of Justice argued that the preliminary injunction blocking Abrego Garcia’s removal to Liberia should be dissolved because the government received assurances from the government of the West African country that he will not be persecuted or tortured.

The government also said that Abrego Garcia’s lawsuit to stop his removal is improper because he is a member of a separate class action lawsuit in Massachusetts regarding third-country removals. In that case, the Supreme Court allowed the Trump administration to proceed with third-country removals.

when they first deported him.
Now they have gone insane trying to deny him citizenship as retribution for being proven wrong about him being a gang member.

1 more year, win Congress, have a cycle of hearings, reign in ICE budgets. Have a fire sale of planes, equipment and weaponry or transfers to military.
Where did Baron get his seed money for Crypto investment. Did the source get taxed? How about reducing secret service budget. Oh man, 1year. That's nothing, we can do it. I'm giddy with excitement.

Seems that we collectively could do something.

Sorry that I'm lacking in creativity as to what we can do.

I'm gutted by the treatment of this man.

It's sadistic!!!!!!!!!

… as sickeningly twisted and perverse as what our federal government has done and is attempting to do to Kilmer Abrego Garcia. How utterly disgusting!

It's impossible one would think. Too much light on the case.

If Abrego Garcia loses we're all in trouble, that's for sure.

Not just vengeful prosecution, but wrongful imprisonment, kidnapping, prosecutorial perjury…

And because they’ve said Liberia has promised to not torture or prosecute the federal government should be allowed to deport him to Liberia—most likely trussed like a thanksgiving turkey. And they should be able to do it now, like right fucking now. The plane is on the tarmac and its engines are running.

This is worse that the Chicago 7 and Kent State.

This is what the federal “government” is now. A juggernaut of evil and oppression. Always to be trusted to make the amoral choice with a side of gratuitous brutality. Cruelty for the sheer joy of having the power to torture and abuse with complete impunity.
