Kimberly-Clark buying Tylenol maker Kenvue in $48.7 billion deal

Kimberly-Clark is buying Tylenol maker Kenvue in a cash and stock deal worth about $48.7 billion, creating a massive consumer health goods company.

Kenvue shareholders will receive $3.50 per share in cash and 0.14625 Kimberly-Clark shares for each Kenvue share held at closing. That amounts to $21.01 per share, based on the closing price of Kimberly-Clark shares on Friday.

Kimberly-Clark shareholders are expected to own about 54% of the combined company. Kenvue shareholders will own about 46%. The deal is expected to close in the second half of next year. It still needs approval from shareholders of both companies.

President Donald Trump recently thrust Tylenol into the national spotlight. In September, he announced that the Food and Drug Administration would issue a physician notice and begin the process for updating safety labels for acetaminophen, the active ingredient in Tylenol, linking its use during pregnancy to autism — despite disputed science.

THIS is why TrumpCo went after Tylenol. The attacks and lies lowered the stock value, making this purchase possible.

I wonder how many people made millions on this little charade. Meanwhile, Americans are left with confusing and conflicting medical advice and their trust in government plummets further.

These people are monsters. Looking at you RFK, Jr. Monsters.

They are big enough to turn around and sue his ass (and RFK JR)... I want them to feel the pain of lying repeatedly to the American people, promoting these lies to affect the deaths of who knows how many adults and children, and decimating Science and outcome/data-driven medicine in this country.

KC may not be able to send the two straight to hell, but I hope they do everything a conglomerate can do to these sadistic, moronic cretins and their ilk.

That's really the only important question to be asked, at this point. Ought to be easy to determine the answer---not as if much is being kept secret, anymore...

I can't imagine why the heroin addict WormBrain would single out Tylenol for his hair brained conspiracy theories, this isn't a coincidence.
