But, we don't need this. Whatever "side" the shooter is on, this is political violence. We must not go down that road.

On January 6, 2021. And with the intensifying ICE and military deployment, it's only going to get worse. Political violence is absolutely abhorrent. But you don't bring a bagel to a gunfight and expect to win. The Trump Administration wants a hot war with the citizens of the United States that don't support him. He will do anything and everything to incite such a war. The question is, will the military obey his illegal orders? And, unfortunately, the attack and sinking of the Venezuelan ship indicate that some in the military are comfortable carrying out illegal orders. Our country is FUBAR. And with the active attempt to undermine the electoral process, the window for a peaceful resolution is almost closed.

Kirk isn't actually important, far as I can tell. Which makes me think hes a sacrifice for a purpose.

Time to double down on requesting the Epstein files.
