Lauren Boebert joins outcry over Trump's big snub of Colorado

Source: Raw Story

September 2, 2025 8:53PM ET

The entire congressional delegation of Colorado, with all Republicans included, issued a statement on Tuesday condemning President Donald Trump's decision to relocate the U.S. Space Command from Colorado Springs to Huntsville, Alabama, reported Axios' Andrew Solender.

Even infamous MAGA firebrand Lauren Boebert signed on to the protest.

"Today's decision to move U.S Space Command's headquarters out of Colorado and to Alabama will directly harm our state and the nation. We are united in fighting to reverse this decision," said the statement. "Bottom line — moving Space Command headquarters weakens our national security at the worst possible time."

"Moving Space Command sets our space defense apparatus back years, wastes billions of taxpayer dollars, and hands the advantage to the converging threats of China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea ... imped[ing] our military's operational capability for years," the statement continued. "Space Command's long-term presence in Colorado Springs has also created a large number of civilian businesses and workers on which the Command now relies. Those people will not simply move with the Command at the military's whim. Many of them will leave the industry altogether, creating a disruption in the workforce that will take our national defense systems decades to recreate."

The petition was filed by Kentucky Republican Thomas Massie and calls for a vote on a bill, written by Massie and California Democrat Ro Khanna which would require the Justice Department to release the Epstein files within 30 days. At the time of writing, the petition has gained 134 signatures from 130 Democrats and four Republicans. The Republicans who have signed the petition are:

1. Thomas Massie, Kentucky
2. Marjorie Taylor Greene, Georgia
3. Nancy Mace, South Carolina
4. Lauren Boebert, Colorado

because CA is a "blue state" and they may force relocations. They are THAT idiotic and vindictive. They could easily carry out Waste. Fraud. Abuse. and move that facility to ID or better, to NV (the latter to encourage them to shift back to red again from purple, where they currently have a GOP governor at the moment) -

The population and industry of that area has been focused on missile technology since the late 1940s. The local universities are excellent. The workforce has demonstrated their abilities by designing and producing rockets from the Redstone all the way up to the Saturn 5 that got us to the moon.

Still, this move from Colorado is ridiculous, unnecessary and will just slow us down.

doesn't have the intelligence to understand ANYTHING........She didn't graduate high school, and rumor has it that she had to take the GED tests THREE times to get her GED before running for public office.......

She has ZERO social graces. Her and her latest BOY TOY got thrown out of a performance at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, mid performance, for giggling, laughing, vaping, and literally GROPING AND FONDLING each other sexually during the performance. They literally acted like a couple of small town teenagers in the back of the balcony in a small town movie theatre on Saturday night. Check it out! It was all recorded on high quality security video's in the theatre and lobby. Then she is shown flipping off the theatre staff while being escorted out..............

The ONLY reason she exists as a Rep, is because of Rural Red Colorado, along with several other Rural Red Republicans. Ironically, all of their Rural Voters are just beginning to feel the Republican Party crushing them the worst.............and they are someday, in their pitiful poverty, going to finally realize they were all not only "Played" but were SUCKER PUNCHED by those politicians that they worshipped and put into office.....

With this last election, Trump and the Republican Party no longer need those MAGAot, Trumphumping, voters, and are just beginning to throw them all under the bus, exactly how we told them it was gonna happen. And now listen to them ALL scream like little piggies going to slaughter.....

HEY all 75 Million of you MAGAot Voters, my words to you are:

It's like a different language. I'm terrible with accents & often terribly dense, too. I was ordering take out at a Chinese restaurant & at the end of the order the woman asked me "Who are you?" But to me, it sounded like "How are you?" so I answered "I'm fine." She asked again & I answered the same, & my husband yelled from across the room, "They're asking who you are not how you are."

for those who don't know. Petersen Base in Colorado Springs was the interim location until Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL was made mission ready.

President Biden cancelled the move in 2023 so Trump is just reinstating it. GOP were of course bloviating that Biden supported a blue state that allows abortion choice over red anti-choice Alabama.

IS when the space command is moving from a state where a woman can make a decision about her own body to a state where she has to carry the rapist baby for nine months. A state which mandates the display of the 10 commandments in public places. A state that is against feeding hungry children. A state that voted against the Medicaid expansion of 2025. A state that wants to return to life in the early nineteenth century!
