Rudy Giuliani to remain in hospital for 'days' as he recovers from serious car crash

Source: The Independent

Monday 01 September 2025 17:18 BST

Rudy Giuliani will remain in the hospital for several days as the former New York City mayor recovers from a weekend car crash, according to his spokesperson.

The 81-year-old former U.S. associate attorney general suffered a fractured thoracic vertebrae, multiple lacerations and other injuries after a 19-year-old driver smashed into his car in New Hampshire Saturday. He remains in the hospital Monday, and is expected to be discharged later this week, according to his spokesperson.

“Mayor Giuliani’s condition continues to improve, and he is expected to be discharged from the hospital within the next few days. This is a man who survived 9/11—so a little car accident won’t be slowing him down,” Michael Ragusa, his head of security, told The Independent in a statement.

“He is eager to return to business and continue fighting for this country, as he has proudly done for the past 50 years.”

but it seemed like they left him with "a residence" - probably in FL where I think he was living (I know he had a couple properties and they had already taken possession of the Manhattan condo that I expect they sold, or have on the market to sell), and I think they got much of the memorabilia plus cash.

Apparently they knew they had to move fast with "Project 2025" destruction and had to get Ghouliani's mess out of the news cycle.

Since he's broke. his attorney has said in answer to lawsuits, a huge hospital bill would really be hard on him.

And if that driver s uninsured, The Ghoul has Medicare (although a good Republican should be ashamed to take a gub'mint entitlement).

but an 81-year-old hit so hard it broke his neck (thoracic vertebrae) likely has concussion symptoms and the impact force is not good for one's internal organs either.

He may not have had his seat belt on as they were pulled to the side of the road helping a woman who flagged them down.

I bet he's being monitored for brain bleeding, internal bleeding.
