Congressman Reveals Epstein Estate Will Hand Over Book Containing Alleged Trump Birthday Message

Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA) broke some news on Friday’s All In on MSNBC, where he said the estate of Jeffrey Epstein will produce several documents that have not been made public. That includes an album of well-wishes for Epstein’s 50th birthday in 2003.

Epstein, a sex trafficker and former friend of President Donald Trump, died of suicide in a Manhattan jail cell in 2019, according to officials.

Last month, The Wall Street Journal reported that Trump sent Epstein a birthday message in 2003 that featured a drawing of a nude woman. Trump’s message concluded, “Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret.” Trump denies sending the message and is suing the Journal over the report.

Speculation about Trump and Epstein reignited after the president’s Department of Justice said it would not be releasing its files regarding Epstein or his alleged client list. That decision angered many Trump supporters, who had long hoped he would release the files and possibly out several famous people as sex pests. In February, Attorney General Pam Bondi claimed Epstein’s client list was “sitting on her desk,” but she now claims there is no such list.

The book is in the possession of Epstein heirs and can do whatever they want with it.

who he financially supported. But I expect his brother has most of the belongings and the girlfriend had whatever stuff they shared together that she kept.

There was a long piece in the NYT that was republished by a bunch of other media outlets, e.g., the Irish Times, which had this blip (from the NYT) - https://www.irishtimes.com/life-and-style/people/jeffrey-epstein-s-final-days-smirking-he-said-i-am-not-suicidal-and-i-would-never-be-1.4737335

That evening, according to the reconstruction, a unit manager at the detention centre helped Epstein make a “social” phone call. The manager dialed for Epstein and let him speak for 15 minutes. The call was not properly logged and does not appear to have been recorded. It is not clear from the documents whether the call was on a monitored line.

“I asked inmate Epstein who he was calling,” the unit manager wrote. “He stated his mother.”

Epstein’s mother died in 2004. The call was to his 30-year-old girlfriend, Karyna Shuliak, whom he helped put through dental school, said three people with knowledge of the phone conversation. Epstein, they said, gave no indication during the call that he planned to kill himself.

The call that night, however, was not included in the phone logs provided to the Times by the Bureau of Prisons. The logs show only one social call during his stay – more than a week earlier, on July 30th, to Shuliak.

She is one of the largest beneficiaries of several trusts that Epstein set up over the years, according to three people briefed on the matter. Shuliak declined to comment through her attorney, Maurice Sercarz.

10. I wonder what the estate's motivation for releasing it is?

Maybe they are somehow being financially compensated for it. There at least doesn't seem to be any kind of legal compulsion. Maybe some desire to improve Epstein's image... though somehow, I don't think this is going to do the trick. Or maybe some desire to damage the reputation of one or more people...

While it doesn't demonstrate proof of trump's OWN 'sex pest' yness, it certainly further reveals his close friendship with Epstein.
